Music at St. Paul’s
For over 200 years this parish has been offering to God a joyful noise in praise and worship with choirs, soloists, instruments, organ and congregational song. Adult, children and youth continue this tradition making use of the full gamut of many centuries of church music. The rich diversity of music in the Episcopal Church gives our St. Paul’s community a foundation of Anglican music from the 16th century and yet embraces musical traditions of ancient chants, music from the Taize’ community and contemporary compositions, along with music from the Hispanic and African-American traditions.
If you are a singer or play a musical instrument, please contact our music director to explore ways in which you can add your song to the 200-year history of this parish offering music to God.
